We did not have access to screenshots for setting up a new email address in a Mac Mail program at the time of this writing so here is a link to the Apple help article on the mail setup:

We (being Windows and Linux users) assume that it would be very similar to setting up an iPhone or iPad for which we do have instructions here: Adding Email Account to iPhone/iPad
